2014 UQAFC Presentation Night

It’s again rolled around to that time of year where we come together as a club and recognise the achievements of our members over the course of the season.

Although some teams have had at times difficult seasons, 2014 has seen the Red Lions embark on enormous growth and take massive strides toward success with both our top men’s and women’s sides representing the University in AFL Queensland’s State League competitions.

We will again have two separate events to cater to the size of the club, and we want everyone to be there for both!

The 2014 vote count afternoon will be held from 1pm on 20 September at the St Lucia Bowls Club. Come along for a casual afternoon as we count the votes across all of the teams at the club to determine who the respective UQAFC best and fairest winners are for season 2014.

We will then gather the following weekend for the annual Presentation Night on Friday 26 September in the Grand View Room at Hillstone St Lucia. $25 per head gets you a few drinks and some food, from 7pm until late.

Payment for the Presentation Night can be made to the following bank account:

Name: Miss Sinead Hastie
BSB: 084 034
Account Number: 566080054

We’ve secured a sizeable room for the Presentation Night and would encourage all involved in the UQAFC to attend: players, coaches, supporters, old boys, partners, family, friends, and everyone in between!

Lock the date away in your diary and lock in a date to wind up the 2014 UQAFC season in style.
