In 2010 we are making changes to the way we handle Membership within the club to better align ourselves with the requirements of our governing bodies, AFL Queensland and UQ Sport.

Over the last decade we’ve seen player numbers at the Red Lions grow from struggling to field 44 players for two teams to a record 224 players on the books and five teams for the 2009 season. In that time we have increased from two teams to start a Joint Venture U18s team in 2003, increasing to a third senior team in 2006 and further increasing to a fourth senior team in 2009.
The UQAFC annual general meeting was held at West Junior clubhouse 13th October 2009.
