Division 2 Training Changes

Apologies for late notice.

Division 2 Training this week and next week will not occur on Wednesdays due to West Juniors needing Oakman Park for their own teams. Division 2 Training will instead be held on Thursday night both weeks (10th March and 17th March) at UQ Oval 7 from 6pm to 7:30pm.

Please note that while at Oval 7 on these two nights we are NOT permitted to use football boots. RUNNERS ONLY! Also, please be aware that there will be areas of the field still under repair and we may not have full access to changerooms and the canteen.

All attendees are reminded that whilst on Oakman Park we are NOT allowed to wear boots. RUNNERS ONLY!

Please note that due to the recent rain it is possible that Monday Night may be closed, however it is still compulsory to turn up next Monday night as the coaches will be presenting the player handbook to all players.

Oakman Park Closure – 3rd & 6th of December

Due to the large downpour of rain in the last few days and the expectation that this rain will continue well into the weekend, West Juniors AFC have made the call to close Oakman Park for tomorrow night, Friday 3rd of December. The field may also remain closed for Monday 6th of December if the rain does not cease over the weekend.
UPDATE: Oakman Park has now been closed for Monday 6th of December 2010.

Friday 3rd of December the alternate training will be a Biathlon to be held at Ithaca Pool on Caxton Street, Paddington. Training will start promptly at 6pm, so make sure you are there before that time. Training will finish around 7pm.

All players will need to bring togs/towel/runners. You will also need to bring $4 entry per person to get into the pool.

Monday 6th of December training will be held in the UQ Sport High Performance Gym from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. UQ Sport have kindly given us the use of the HPG for free. Please make sure that we are returning the HPG to it’s original state once we are finished.

If you have any problems, please contact myself on 0422 494 701.

Regards,
Scott.
