Red Lions Karaoke Night

Boys,

As you know a lot of the University was damaged during the recent floods, including our footy club. Unfortunately we lost a lot of equipment from both the canteen and the storage shed which held a lot our football equipment. Thankfully the hard work from many club members in the off season has seen fundraising provide us with some of the funds to recover this equipment but it won’t cover the lot.

While our sponsors are very supportive of our football club and are doing what they can financially to assist us, we still have a short fall. Rather than increase playing fees significantly we would like see the players support the club, enjoy themselves and help raise money to go towards the clubs recovery program.

So on that note I invite you, your partners, family and friends to the inaugural and prestigious UQ Red Lions Karaoke championships.

THE 2011 UQ RED LIONS FLOOD APPEAL KARAOKE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Venue: The ‘RE’
When: Friday the 18th February
Time: 7pm for 7.30pm kick off
Entry fee: $20

Winner to be crowned UQ Red Lions 2011 Karaoke Champion. There will be an extensive list of songs to pick from on the night (I have ‘Horses’ by Darryl Braithwaite locked in). It would be great to see the entire club together & supporting each other on such an important night.
