Former Red Lion Scott Clouston to play in VFL Grand Final

This Sunday in Melbourne at Etihad Stadium, Former Red Lion Scott Clouston is in line to play for VFL powerhouse Williamstown in the 2015 VFL Grand Final against Box Hill Hawks. Scott has been playing in the VFL for the last three years with Williamstown and Werribee after a stint at Redlands. Scott tasted AFL experience with Brisbane Lions, playing two games before being delisted.

Scott’s nickname at the Red Lions was chopper and he won this name due to his ability to propel the ball from a kick in a manner of a helicopter. Chopper won an U/18 grand final in 2005 with the Red Lions. The Red Lions wish Chopper success tomorrow and we hope that he is able to slot some goals through whether it be like a chopper or by better propulsion. The Red Lions were unlucky not to have two former Red Lions playing with Blaine Coates team Sandringham knocked out in the semi finals.
