My only premiership appearance was in the 1961 B Grade grand final. In fact I played only a few years with the club, since I was overseas 1957 to 1960.
I guess my only “claim to fame” occurred in 1956 when I was President, won B&F for the Club and B&F for the Brisbane competition. Ted Duhs, our captain came 2nd in the Bris competition… quite an achievement for the Club to have 1st & 2nd. I also managed a Uni 1/2 Blue & subsequently Life Membership of the Club.
