Hello to all Red Lions supporters,
While it is a great honour to be appointed to the role of President at the UQAFC, the first task is to thank all the Committee for agreeing to contribute their time and expertise to the club for 2012 which has the potential to be a tremendously successful follow up to our 2011 results. With all positions on the Committee filled and coaching appointments for all senior teams finalised, the club is in good shape to get a flying start to the new year.

UQAFC is sad to advise that Life Member, Martin Bennett, passed away on Tuesday, October 11.
Martin suffered a massive stroke last week and had been in a critical condition in the PA hospital in Brisbane since. His condition deteriorated and Martin lost his fight for life late Tuesday.
Martin was great contributor over many years and his passion for the club, his bright cheerful smile and trusted camera will be sadly missed at the Red Lions den.
We wish to offer our sincere condolences to all of Martin’s family.
