The Red Lions announce the leaders for the Colts on the eve of round one. Rob Pettis will lead from the front after being unanimously voted in by his peers at the back end of preseason. Pettis has been a consistent performer all preseason and has shown his love for the club after joining last year via West Juniors.
His support will be Henry Watson and Jonathan Macanawai as Vice Captains who are consistent leaders on and off the field. Dylan D’Roza and Henry Mundie will add to the leadership depth to further bolster the teams expectation to play finals in 2015.
Between the five, they can boast over 100 games for the Red Lions across QAFL seniors, Reserves and Colts over 2013 and 2014.
The Red Lions see these young leaders as the future of the club and wish them all the best in their first game for the year against Maroochydore this Saturday at 9:30am at Oval 7 – The Red Lion Arena.
