Welcome to 2015 at the UQAFC

All is set down at Oval 7 for a huge season 2015. Over the coming weeks players and coaches will return from the Christmas holidays ready to get stuck back into pre-season training, and we’d love to see plenty of new faces!

Our QAFL boys will be the first to get back into the swing of things when they return on Tuesday 13 January 2015. Our Colts (Under 18’s) will start at 5:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while QAFL Senior and Reserve grade players are asked to arrive at 5:45pm for a 6:15pm start. If you are an experienced footballer wishing to join the club, please contact our QAFL Senior Coach Darren Pfeiffer on 0434 723 454.

The QAFA group will return on Monday 19 January 2015, with sessions running on Mondays and Wednesdays. The boys will run a uni loop at 6:00pm, with training to commence at 6:30pm. If you’re a new player wishing to start playing AFL, please simply come along to a QAFA session to start meeting everyone.

Also kicking off on Monday 19 January 2015 are our ladies, who will this year again train on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:00pm. We have a range of different experience levels in our ladies squad so please just come along to a training session if you would like to try out AFL at our club. All are welcome!

All oval training sessions will be at Oval 7, while the infamous “Freers” fitness sessions will also be run on Tuesday nights from 6:30pm at 103m Sir Samuel Griffith Drive, Bardon.
